Распаковываю zip архив с exe'шниками. Закпускаю --initialize.
Далее пытаюсь подключиться, а он мне: С таким паролем тебе не место

задай этот вопрос тем кто тебе этот зип дал

Это я с оракла скачал

так там и мануал есть :)

Оказалось нужно было делать
--initialize-insecure

как плохо не уметь читать на вражеском языке...

Просто раньше все было просто. Запустил mysqld и все
